The Lord is Faithful !!! We have looked at several trucks and after our mechanic checked them out, they were needing alot of work and we just didn't get a good feeling..... so we kept searching. Found a royal green chevy pickup, lifted and in excellent condition. Had the mechanic check it out and we all had a good feeling about it, but it did need some work, so we offered them 2000. less than the asking price. The young man who was the owner said that he had to call his mom and dad ( I chuckled inside. He was such a nice young man ). He came back and counter offered and asked if we would accept 1000. dollars less, coming down half way? I went back into the shop to talk to the mechanic again and get his gut feeling about this ( this guy has been our mechanic for over 25 years, trust him so much ). He said Yes it was worth it, and that the kid was already taking a beating on the price. He had all his receipts and put ALOT more money into the truck than he was selling it for.......... sooooo yes we made an agreement and off to the bank. We all felt really good about it. Now our son has a GUY TRUCK !!! And I am thankful to our Heavenly Father for His blessings to us. Prayer works !!

Between getting house ready for friends from South Africa, then friends here visiting from South Africa and now getting finished with Taxes, my blog has had to wait.
I am blogging at 1:32 am. My little Jackson (cutest dog in the world) had to go potty at midnight and now I can't go back to sleep. It must be going outside in the cold air and getting woken up.
Looking for a truck for our son (first vehicle for him) has been a lesson in prayer. We told him that he needed to pray about the truck that our Heavenly Father wanted him to have and then we pray together before we go look at a truck so that the Holy Ghost will guide us and give us feelings on whether this is the right truck.
I am thankful to post that Heavenly Father is faithful and has guided us along the way. No truck yet, but now my son has a testimony of how the Spirit works and guides. I love this !!!
Now I'm starting to get tired, so off to dreamland....good night, again....
